A Client Story

Shannon came to me physically and mentally exhausted — running on empty, crashing in cycles, barely making it through her days. Five weeks later, in her own words:

“My family has me back. I have me back.”

“I was physically and mentally exhausted — procrastinating on daily tasks, running on empty, and quietly crashing in cycles. Before my health issues, I was always a positive person. My first big realization after working with Upinder was how negative my thoughts were about the small, everyday things because I was so exhausted trying to be my old self.

Over five weeks, my mindset shifted. I now have a sacred space – a place where I can write out my thoughts so they aren’t adding to my mental load, rest to re-energize in solitude. I also started asking for help vs. always trying to help others and not being a burden — something I never used to do. I stopped feeling responsible for how everyone around me felt. I started listening to my body — napping when it needed rest, eating regularly, and checking in with myself. I went from a 4 out of 10 to a 7 in energy.  Consistent without any crashes.

Before this program, I was struggling to get through my days — tasks piling up, low energy, just barely surviving. I finally committed to five weeks of doing the work, and now my family has me back, I have me back. Meet Upinder

I’m Upinder Sahota Khan, a Stress Reduction & Resilience Educator and Integrative Mind–Body Practitioner.

After years of trying to balance work, family, and everything in between, I reached a point where I felt completely drained and disconnected from my own inner voice. I discovered that chronic stress, over-functioning, and empathic burnout were at the root of my exhaustion. Through mindfulness-based stress reduction, nervous system regulation, and restorative mind–body practices, I learned how to stop absorbing other’s energy and fully align with my own intuition.

Today, I hold a safe, non-judgmental space to help other capable women quieten the mental noise, get their energy back, and reclaim their ultimate self-trust
